The Redskins fleshed out their roster Thursday, by signing 10 undrafted rookies and releasing a couple of guys, including one who once flashed big-play potential.

The team announced they had released wide receiver David Gettis and kicker Jake Rogers.

Gettis, a former sixth-round pick of the Panthers, started 13 games in 2010 and caught 37 passes for 508 yards and three touchdowns, before knee injuries derailed his career.

The 10 rookies the Redskins signed included: Tulane nose tackle Chris Davenport, Southern wide receiver Lee Doss, BYU wide receiver Cody Hoffman,

Indiana wide receiver Kofi Hughes, Northwestern wide receiver Rashad Lawrence, Texas-El Paso tight end Kevin Perry, Southern Cal running back Silas Redd, Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees, North Dakota State defensive back Bryan Shepherd and Arkansas nose tackle Robert Thomas.
