PFT Live: Bears talk with John “Moon” Mullin, your questions

The Bears got their quarterback business done last year, getting Jay Cutler signed to an extension, and have locked up his favorite target Brandon Marshall this offseason.

But they’re still very much a team in flux in the NFC North, trying to add some new parts to their defense such as defensive end Jared Allen to push the Packers.

Our Mike Florio will be joined by’s John “Moon” Mullin to talk about those issues and more during Friday’s edition of PFT Live.

We’ll also be taking calls and tweets from PFT Planet, answering your questions.

It all gets started at noon ET and you can watch it live by clicking right here.

  1. Well the “Moon” is definitely not a homer and is in fact in a secure unbiased orbit! I think Claussen has a good chance to be the #2 considering why would Trestman bring him back if he wasn’t optimistic about what he could help him do. How great of a story would it be for the Bears to say look at what we got out of the pile of players that nobody wanted. That’s a big score if you can make something good happen like that. And then it would make rival teams like the Lions think hey why didn’t we figure out he might be useful and try to reunite him with Golden Tate that he once was very successful with?

Get fired up “Moon” and hope for the best!

  2. What I would like to know is why the Bears have 5 QBs in OTAs but don’t have two legitimate starting safeties in the whole lot.
