Will Hill is back in football. Sort of.

The suspended Giants safety has reportedly signed with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena League.

The team’s announcement of the acquisition of Hill and two other guys mentions nothing of Hill’s NFL career, much less his three suspensions.

“I’m excited to get out on the field,” Hill said in the team release. “I’m ready to get out there and put people over the [dasher board] wall.”

I’m also excited to learn more about the Arena League’s rules, and whether or not they include drug testing.

Sort of.

UPDATE 1:04 p.m. ET: Something’s off here. The link above can’t be found from navigating the Rattlers’ website.

A team official told Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger that Hill was taken off the league’s NFL Exempt list, and is not on the current roster.
