Undrafted, the four-year-old gelding owned by Broncos wide receiver and renowned horse handicapper Wes Welker, will run in Saturday’s $300,000 Jaipur International Stakes at Belmont Park.

But let’s not bury the lede.

The Jaipur winner, if you must know, will earn $180,000, but before you abandon ye weekend plans and aim thy automobiles in the general direction of New York with visions of Welker handing out cash like vouchers for free tacos when a basketball team hits 120 points, we bring you a report from the Boston Globe that says the star slot receiver will not be attending today’s races at Belmont.

At 5-to-1, Undrafted is the third choice on the morning line in the Jaipur, which starts at 1:16 p.m. Eastern and will be run at three-quarters of a mile on turf. Though he has yet to win in three starts in 2014, Undrafted has made $42,760 in purse money.

The Belmont Stakes, headlined by California Chrome seeking to become the 12th winner of the Triple Crown, is set for 6:52 p.m. ET and will air on NBC. NBCSN will air two hours of Belmont undercard coverage from 2:30-4:30, with NBC’s coverage beginning at 4:30.
