We’re welcoming a Hall of Famer to PFT Live on Wednesday.

Former Seahawks wide receiver Steve Largent will join Mike Florio to talk about his playing career as well as what he’s up to now that he’s moved on from his first post-football pursuit. Largent served as a member of the House of Representatives from Oklahoma for eight years after he stopped playing and his last bid for elected office ended when his bid for Governor of Oklahoma came up short in 2002.

We’ll also be throwing open the floor to questions from PFT Planet once again. You can send them our way on Twitter — @ProFootballTalk — or by giving a call to 888-237-5269 during the show to share what’s on your mind.

It all gets started at noon ET and you can watch it all live by clicking right here.

  1. I was 6 years old when the Seahawks were “born” in 1976. Zorn-to-Largent made it easy to fall in love with our new team. Loooong wait to reach the top, but we finally made it.

  2. I was 9 and remember the first team….. Zorn/Largent = great duo!!
Been a fan ever since!! I was at the Super Bowl and was just aglow watching my team finally hoist the Lombardi! Awesome moment!
Thanks Jim and Steve for starting this franchise off right! GO HAWKS!

  3. I know I’m a couple of days late commenting on this, but I was 10 yrs old when we got a team, a small town in Idaho, but THIS WAS OUR TEAM! It’s been a long, strange trip. Steve setting all the records while I was up north, and now I live in the deep south, an hour away from Jerry Rices hometown of Crawford. But there was only one Steve Largent, God couldn’t stand the competition.
