Last year, the Cowboys pursued veteran guard Brian Waters all throughout the offseason and preseason before finally signing him as the regular season was getting underway.

Waters got hurt and wound up on injured reserve and there’s been limited discussion of a comeback after the team drafted Zack Martin in the first round. That doesn’t mean the Cowboys are out of the market for experienced help at the position.

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that guard Garrett Reynolds visited with the team last week. Reynolds, who was released by the Falcons in February after being benched 10 games into the 2013 season, also visited with the Titans before the draft.

With Martin, Ronald Leary and Mackenzy Bernadeau all on the roster, Reynolds is looking at a reserve role if he lands in Dallas. After being benched by the Falcons, that’s probably going to be the case anywhere he winds up this summer.
