Even if the Falcons have the best pair of wide receivers in the league, last year proved they still need depth, so they added some Friday.

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, the Falcons are signing Courtney Roby.

Roby was last with the Saints, who cut him prior to the start of the regular season in 2013.

He’s never been more productive than he was when he was a rookie with the Titans in 2005, where he had 21 of his 25 career catches.

Translated, if he ends up doing anything for the Falcons this year, there has been a catastrophe.

Like last year.
