Washington got a scare on Sunday, when cornerback DeAngelo Hall landed on his back during practice.
As explained by Tarik El-Bashir of CSNWahshington.com, Hall was carted off the practice field.
A team spokesman said the injury may be only a bruise. But Hall was still being evaluated at the time El-Bashir’s story posted, and an update is expected from coach Jay Gruden later today.
Hall, a key player on the team’s defense, enters his seventh season in Washington and 11th in the league. He’s still only 30.
