The Buccaneers are down a starting linebacker in Saturday’s exhibition at Buffalo.
Outside linebacker Jonathan Casillas was held out of the game for “disciplinary reasons,” Scott Smith of the Buccaneers’ website reported on Twitter.
Casillas is not at the game, the club’s website said.
Casillas is listed as the Buccaneers’ starting strong-side linebacker. A sixth-year pro from Wisconsin, Casillas notched 35 tackles in 12 games (four starts) for Tampa Bay last season. He spent his first four NFL seasons with New Orleans (2009-2012).
Danny Lansanah started at strong-side linebacker against Buffalo, the club said.
