Leave Chris Kirksey alone — he was in the pool

Not since George Constanza has there been a more profound victim of shrinkage than Chris Kirksey.

The Browns rookie linebacker has gained a measure of fame because of a computer glitch on the “Madden NFL 2015” video game that depicts him as both a member of the Titans and tiny.

Leave him alone, he’s 1-foot, 2-inches,” Browns teammate Craig Robertson said as reporters came to check with Kirksey about his tiny status.

In real life, Kirksey is a solid 6-foot-2, 235 pounds. But the word spread quickly when the video game version had him ankle-high on the guys he’s trying to tackle.

“I couldn’t even see myself I was a little dot moving around and then they zoomed in and I saw ’58’ and I was like, ‘Why am I this small and why am I on the Titans?'” Kirksey said, via Tom Reed of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “Then, somebody told me what happened. . . .

“Somebody went onto Wikipedia and changed my height to 1-foot-2. It’s pretty funny.”

Reps from EA Sports are coming to meet Kirksey today. With a little luck, they won’t step on him.
