A forgettable first half for the Browns in Pittsburgh also came with some unwelcome injury news.

Tailback Ben Tate is questionable to re-enter to Sunday’s game with a knee ailment, the club announced on its Twitter feed.

Tate rushed for 41 yards on six carries in the first half for Cleveland, which trails Pittsburgh 27-3 at halftime.

Rookie Terrance West is the top backup to Tate.

The 26-yard-old Tate signed with the Browns in the offseason. He played his first four seasons with Houston (2010-2013). He missed his entire rookie season with a broken ankle. He appeared in 14 games last season for the Texans, playing through injured ribs at times.

UPDATE 3:24 p.m. ET: Tate has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
