Reports: Austin Davis on track to be Rams’ starter Sunday

AP

Multiple published reports this morning suggest the Rams won’t have quarterback Shaun Hill (thigh) in the starting lineup on Sunday at Tampa Bay.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Hill is “not believed to be ready” to play in Week Two. Also, Rams beat reporter Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch said he’s “(fully) expecting” Austin Davis to get the start in place of Hill, who missed two days of practice and was limited on Friday with his injury, which was sustained in the season-opening loss to Minnesota.

The Rams play the Buccaneers at 4:05 p.m. ET, with inactives to be announced 90 minutes before the contest.

  1. The way the Rams offense looked last week, I thought Miles Davis was qb’ing it. (look up who he was..lol)

  2. With the Bucs history of losing to B/UP QB, Rams have a decent chance. Bucs have B/UP for both DE, no guards (gave up 3 sacks last week), their highly drafted TE is still injured (or should I say injured again) and a 35 year old QB who last week played like a rookie.

    Rams 17 Bucs 13

  3. This whole qb debacle rests solely with management. Bradford had a significant injury history before they even got here yet they never spent any draft picks upgrading the position and thinking of the future. The rams passed up on Wilson, Kaepernick, Foles and Cousins in 2012 draft. They then stick with made of glass Bradford.
Add in the fact that the OC Brian Schottenheimer is one of the worst and most overrated OC’s in the league and it is easy to see why the rams are going nowhere fast.
Oh that and the site ramsondemand sucks. Banned for reporting a troll even though they guy was violating the terms of service there and I get banned. Go there and troll the site hard. Bunch of lameo’s.
