X-rays negative for Jamaal Charles, MRI likely

Good news, Chiefs fans.  Per a league source, X-rays were negative on the ankle injured by Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles on Sunday.

It doesn’t mean Charles will be back in action next week.  An MRI on Monday is likely, which will reveal the extent of any damage to the ligaments holding the ankle together.

The injury came after only three touches — two rushes for four yards and one catch for nine.  For the season, Charles has nine rushing attempts for 23 yards.

And a year after starting 9-0, the Chiefs have started 2014 at 0-2.

  1. “And a year after starting 9-0, the Chiefs have started 2014 at 0-2.”

Yeah…I think everybody knows that but thanks Captain Obvious.

With the way Davis ran yesterday maybe JC should take some time off. He is becoming more like McFadden every day.

You can’t make the club in the tub JC.

  2. Our crazy season continues. No mention of Berry who sat out all preseason with a foot injury. His same foot / ankle got hurt. With the Chiefs loaded with compensatory picks in the draft, looks like we’re going to do just enough to win, but still lose games this year. Buckle up, going to be a long season. There goes my Madden game!

  3. All you Charles fans can suck it lol let the excuses fly ! First it was Reid not giving him any touches now its oh but he was lol hopefully kniles Davis can take some of his touches !

  4. If the Broncos can barely beat K.C. at home, how are tthey going to win the SB much less make it? Peyton will be done in a year, Ware and half the team is getting past their prime, than what will the Broncos be?

Good luck to Charles, hope he can get healthy.

Don’t you trolls have something better to do?
