If the Colts on November 23 encounter a significantly better Jaguars team led by rookie quarterback Blake Bortles, the Colts need to look only at one sheet of paper hanging in quarterback Andrew Luck’s locker.
Luck’s career day against the Jaguars helped launch the Blake Bortles era. It also secured for Luck the AFC offensive player of the week award.
It’s Luck’s third such honor. In the 44-17 win at Jacksonville, Luck completed 31 of 39 passes for 370 yards, and four touchdowns. He generated a career-high passer rating of 140.4.
Luck joins former Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas (not that other guy) are the only players in franchise history to complete at least 75 percent of their passes for 350 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions in a game.
