Jason Kelce thinks JPP and the Giants are dumb

The Giants and Eagles have been talking trash all week, but Eagles center Jason Kelce took it up a notch this morning.

After Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said the Eagles were 4-1 “but they could have easily been 0-4,” the Eagles center fired back.

“Well my response to that is, I don’t think Jason Pierre-Paul is smart enough to come up with that statement on his own,” Kelce told Angelo Cataldi of WIP, via the New York Daily News. “I think he’s the type of guy that just reiterates what his coaches have been telling him. So, I’m a little worried about Tom Coughlin’s math because I feel like maybe that’s where it was screwed up. Maybe it was just relayed to him.”
Oh.

So not only is he ripping Pierre-Paul for being dumb, but he’s disparaging the math skills of Mr. October in one fell swoop.

And when asked to clarify if he meant the entire team wasn’t smart, Kelce replied: “That is correct. They are a good football team, but yes.”

While most of the other participants in this week’s back-and-forth are actually going to play, we’re not sure any of them went that far.
