Giants receiver Victor Cruz has had surgery to repair his torn patellar tendon.
A league source tells PFT that Cruz had the surgery today.
Cruz suffered the nasty knee injury without being touched: He simply went up to grab a pass in the end zone and came down in obviously severe pain, screaming and clutching his knee.
Cruz had 23 catches and leads the team 337 receiving yards this season. He’ll be tough for the Giants to replace.
