Marrone disputes that Mike Williams has been shut down in practice

A report has emerged that Bills receiver Mike Williams didn’t get a single rep in practice on Wednesday.  On Thursday, coach Doug Marrone disputed that contention.  Sort of.

Asked by reporters if Williams has “gotten any time with the first team over the past couple of days,” Marrone said, “Yes.”

The breadth of the response could, in theory, mean that Williams got no practice reps on Wednesday and some first-team reps on Thursday.  Regardless, Marrone disputed the narrative that Williams, who reportedly wants to be traded (unless he doesn’t), is being frozen out of the offense.
