Dolphins lose versatile DB to season-ending pectoral injury

Things are going pretty well for the Dolphins right now, but they aren’t quite perfect.

According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the Dolphins have lost a key contributor to their special teams and defense for the year, with Michael Thomas suffering a pectoral injury.

The Dolphins are second in the league in pass defense, and Thomas played a significant role. He has one start at safety, and can play nickel corner as well.

He also leads the team with nine special tackles.

Thomas was signed off the 49ers practice squad last year, and had a pick off Tom Brady last season.
