As the Patriots prepare to face the Colts, the Pats may have been picking the brains of one of the team’s former players.
Per a league source, the Patriots worked out running back Dion Lewis on Wednesday; he was the star attraction in a one-man tryout.
Lewis, who spent 2011-12 with the Eagles and 2013 with the Browns, lasted a week with Indy in September. While that’s hardly enough time to learn anything significant about what the Colts do, it’s possible that the Pats pumped him for as much information as they could.
They’ll pump him for even more if they end up signing him. That hasn’t happened. Yet.
