The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers will meet for the first time since their tussle in the NFC Championship in January on Thanksgiving night.

The 49ers may have to play the game without starting right tackle Anthony Davis.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, Davis is still experiencing concussion symptoms suffered last week against the New York Giants. Davis did not play Sunday against the Washington Redskins and would not have participated in practice Monday if the 49ers had held a full practice.

Both Seattle and San Francisco held walkthrough practices and participation is estimated.

With a short week, passing all stages of the concussion protocol is nearly impossible to get accomplished. Jonathan Martin would start again if Davis is unable to play.

Cornerback Tremaine Brock (hamstring), tight end Derek Carrier (foot), DT Glenn Dorsey (forearm), receiver Bruce Ellington (ankle) and defensive end Justin Smith (back) would not have participated in practice Monday. Running back Frank Gore (knee) and tight end Vance McDonald (back) were listed as limited.

Receiver Brandon Lloyd (quadriceps), running back Bruce MIller (shoulder) and safeties Eric Reid (ankle) and Raymond Ventrone (groin) would have been full participants.

For the Seahawks, tight end Cooper Helfet suffered a sprained ankle against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and his status for Thursday’s game is questionable at best. Center Max Unger (ankle/knee) and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (shoulder) are not expected to play.

Head coach Pete Carroll hinted at Pierre-Louis’ shoulder injury being potentially season-ending.

Running back Marshawn Lynch (back), receiver Jermaine Kearse (ankle), guard James Carpenter (ankle), defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (knee) and cornerbacks Marcus Burley (hamstring) and Jeremy Lane (glute) would have been limited.
