Isaiah Crowell scored on a 9-yard touchdown run to give the Cleveland Browns a 14-7 halftime lead over the Indianapolis Colts.
Brian Hoyer converted two key third downs to help lead the Browns to their go-ahead score. Hoyer hit Travis Benjamin for a 27-yard gain to push back into Colts territory and found Andrew Hawkins for 12 yards on third-and-8, which set up Crowell’s touchdown.
Andrew Luck was sacked by Desmond Bryant and stripped by Paul Kruger as he was being driven backward toward the turf. The ball squirted free into the end zone and was recovered by linebacker Craig Robertson to give the Browns a 7-0 lead.
The Browns defense has kept Luck and the Colts passing game in check. So Luck had to make something happen on the ground instead to get Indianapolis on the board.
Luck scored on an 11-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 7-7. Luck is just 9 of 22 for 86 yards through the first half for the Colts.
Hoyer, trying to fight off Johnny Manziel as the Browns quarterback, is 8 of 17 for 99 yards and an interception.
