Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy injured his knee during Sunday’s loss to the Lions.  He returned and played with the injury.

But it wasn’t a garden-variety knee injury.  Per a league source, McCoy dislocated his knee cap.  And still played.

The knee cap was put back in place and wrapped.  He’ll have an MRI in the morning to gauge the extent of the damage to the joint.
