Bills owner Terry Pegula also owns the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.  A joke made by the Florida Panthers on Saturday night before a game against the Sabres had Pegula very upset.

Via John Vogl of the Buffalo News, Pegula took issue with a pregame video that demonstrated the differences between Western New York and South Florida by mixing images of the Panthers’ mascot enjoying the sun and the blizzard that hit Buffalo last month.

Pegula expressed his displeasure directly to Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon, in a conversation overheard by George Richards of the Miami Herald.

“People died in that storm,” Pegula said.  “That’s not funny.”

Tallon said the team hadn’t seen the video, and Tallon apologized for it.
