The 49ers appear set to bring back defensive lineman and former British Olympian Lawrence Okoye for a third season.
The club signed the 23-year-old Okoye to a reserve/future contract on Friday. The transaction was noted in the NFL’s personnel notice.
Okoye (6-6, 304) spent the past season on the 49ers’ practice squad. He spent his rookie campaign of 2013 on injured reserve.
Okoye was one of four reserve/future signings Friday. Kansas City added wide receiver Corbin Louks, while Washington signed linebacker James Gayle and defensive tackle Kenneth Horsley.
