Patriots’ injury report fairly short for mid-January

The Patriots emerged from a hard-fought win against the Ravens on Saturday.  As New England prepares to host Indianapolis on Sunday, the list of injured Patriots isn’t as long as perhaps it should be.

As noted earlier, rookie center Bryan Stork didn’t practice with a knee injury suffered against Baltimore.

Limited in practice were cornerback Brandon Browner (knee), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (shoulder), defensive tackle Chris Jones (elbow), and receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder, toe).

And fully participating was quarterback Tom Brady, whose chronic right shoulder injury has been replaced with an ankle injury.

  1. I guess we will know on Sunday the exact extent of these injuries
Browner and stork would be huge
    I guess Jonas grey recovered?

In the world of the hoody you ever know

    Some may call it deception

    😆

  2. Yeah Ray Lewis sure does sound a little delusional when he says if it wasn’t for the snow bowl game (that’s what we call it) no one would ever have heard of Brady.

Makes you wonder how his mind works and what he ends up telling himself and believing
He might really have convinced himself he wasn’t part of a murder

  3. After the pass happy game last week I truly hope the Pats go heavy and pound those two big back over and over and over and over and over….

  4. I wonder if Browner was really benched. He was pulled right after that horrible PI penalty.

  5. Two things that scare me much more than talent in January: health and momentum. Disregarding the season ending game against Buffalo where there was nothing to play for and not a lot of action from the starters, the Patriots have won 11 of 12 (losing only against legitimate Super Bowl contender Packers), are coming off an insanely emotional win against a hated rival, are pretty healthy, and seem to be peaking at the right time. They’re really going to be a problem.

  6. MF, It seems as if your insisting there is something shady or being hidden here because there are so few players on the Patriots Injury report considering this stage of the season. You didn’t however mention the colts have 4 players on their injury report. 2 players fewer than NE. Whats up with that?

Love your subjective perpetual portrayal of the Patriots being sketchy, real legit. Keep feeding the trolls.

  7. I just watched a replay of the Pats – Ravens game. In the locker room, Belichick congratulated his players but told the team they needed to play better. Man, he was on to the next game before he even knew who they were playing.

  8. Finally, finally…Tom Brady has more playoff wins than Mark Sanchez since 2006!

    whew!

Brady now also has more playoff wins than any other QB in NFL History. And AFC appearances. And Superbowl appearances. And Post season yards. And Post Season TDS, and….. do you want me to keep on going, or?
