  1. That’ surprising considering the way they were owned by Green Bay and smoked by Dallas at home.

  2. Taking the Ravens right now at a bargain. They absolutely smashed and embarrassed the steelers in playoffs with 20 starters on IR yet they are 20-1??? By mid season Ravens will be 5-1.

    Cheers!!!

  3. Makes no sense. Pats are gonna be the #1 or #2 seed again in the AFC next year. Seahawks have a tougher road ahead.

  4. As a hawk fan i’m insulted by this. How in the hell can we be favored after that play call. This kind of mistake is devastating there is no way were back next year. These guys are spent and will take the year off. I see 9-7 no post season. Perhaps the following year but if there going to pay RW 22 mil a year then I see us just falling back into mediocrity making a post season run every few years. This was our chance and we blew it. SB48 will always be special and I thanks those guys for that. That alone was so special and we will always have it. Lynch, Maxie, Irvin, Schofield, Wagner, Lane, Carp, Okung will all be gone cuase we can’t pay them.

  5. New England won fair and sqaure yesterday, but let’s be honest and say that two key players went down on Seattle’s D that changed the dynamic of the game. Lane’s injury allowed Brady to complete short passes throughout the field and Avril injury allowed him to stay longer in the pocket. In the end that doesn’t really matter because the last play was a complete disaster

  6. Glad to see those odds! Exactly 10 times better than MN…perfect. Even though the end of the championship game was a nightmare I think GB has proven we can hang with the seahawks. My bet is GB vs Pats for SB 50.

  7. Dallas at 10-1 is the prefect anecdote for drinking and eating way to much watching the bowl.. Laughter always makes everyone feel better…

  8. Who really gives a crap ?? They chocked and have to live with it for an entire off season and who knows how many players will they lose to free agency?? Are they actually going to pay RW ?? The players all performed but now their leader Pete Carroll is the one who made the clown play at the end and chocked. That may lose a few players. Just disgusted at the moment, and can’t wrap my head around waiting for another season. Good luck to them………..

Niners 18 – 1 odds??? Has Vegas not seen how terrible our off-season has been?

    —————————–

I think they’re basing this on the possibility of using the same or similar systems both offensively and especially defensively. They pretty much still have most of their defensive players back, with last year’s rookies gaining some valuable experience. Just need an avg offense, who knows what will happen right?

  10. Green Bay plays Seattle at home next season. That will bode well for the Green Bay postseason. I’m surprised they gave Seattle the top spot considering the changes that will likely occur on their roster.

  11. Silly. The Cards had all their bad breaks this year. They will own that division in 2015. If the Rams find an offense they’ll be tough too.
The Legion of Dumb is overrated. Rogers and Brady showed the blueprint on how they can be defeated. The only chance Seattle has is to find Wilson a better OC.

  12. Not going to happen for the hawks. Time to pay your QB, and that means losing a lot of players. Your window has closed.

  13. tanorrave, let’s get real. It wasn’t 20 starters. It was some starters but mostly back ups. Let’s look at the new OC, he made Cutler worse. Cutler has better weapons then Flacco and let’s face it the Ravens struggled against good teams. It’s not going to get much better now that Flacco has to learn yet another offense. Don’t act like the Ravens were the only NFL team to miss starters.

  14. This is going to linger for Seattle. The incredible breaks they always seem to get are finally starting to go the other way. They are going to fall apart next year, and I can’t wait to watch it!

  15. Patriots were built for a one year run–they are done. Hard to see anyone but the Cowboys winning the SB next year.

  16. The seahawks are not going away. Tough loss yesterday but they will be back. Games like this only seem to light a fire in our guys. Go Hawks!!! I’m just glad this was a good sb to watch. Not like last years slaughter.

  17. yeah keep betting on seahawks lol. with yesterday’s loss they are tied (with the Rams) with the worst super bowl record in the league .333 for a team that has won at least 1 super bowl. this is the sorriest “dynasty” in sports history!!

  18. Not happening that team will explode its only fun when you win and what they did yesterday was give away a sure win.

With all the $$$$ they have to spend on Wilson they will like everyone else no cheap deals

Now on the other hand Dallas shot there load the Egals need a QB and the redskins well they are the redskins what everyone need to think about is Cruz gets back Beckham continues and Giants win SB 5o beating the Pats once again

  19. Seriously, not going to happen for the top 3 teams We know for sure the Hawks D isn’t going to be the same due to losing their D coordinator plus Super Bowl hangover. Packers will always choke and Patriots won’t even make it to another Super Bowl bc I’ve never seen Brady play as scared as he did last night. If you just keep hitting him he will make a ton of mistakes. Mark my word, it won’t happen.

  20. How is Seattle the favorite? Any team with Tharold Simon as their #1 DB can’t be the SB favorite. Simon is their #1 DB, right? Edelman is NE’s #1 WR and Simon was on him for the game winning TD catch. Sherman is just the leagues highest paid Nickel corner.

  21. No way. Seahawks are not coming back from this bitter mindboggling defeat. Thanks, Bevell.

I’m putting a $20 on Chicago at 50-1. What does the Fox say?

  22. with Bevell calling the plays seachickens will be watching the game from their caves classless losers

  23. Re: seattle oodds to make it to SB-L

When will thomas return from labrum surgery and sherman from Tommy John?
Can they get better on the OL?

Who replaces Maxwell? Zach Miller? Lynch? Percy Harvin?

  24. Some teams pull together when faced with adversity, while others pull apart. My gut tells me Seattle has a lot of me-first guys to expect them to bounce back from this strong. First major question is whether they need to fire Bevell. That entire team must be 100% convinced they win the SB if Lynch gets the ball instead of that terrible slant call. Teams have checked out on coaches over far less.

    =================================
Yeah, teams that use their first two draft picks on an injured DL with a high upside and a quarterback for the future are built for one year. 🙂

  26. Put your money on the Packers. They would’ve won it with a healthy Rodgers this year. Seahawks won’t make the playoffs. Guaranteed.

  27. As a New Englander, and Patriots fan.. 60-1 for the Bills – I’ll be putting a Ben Franklin flyer out there.

  28. Green Bay plays Seattle at home next season.

    —————————————————–

This will definitely be a prime time game next season. Thursday night, Sunday night, or Monday night. Book it!!!

  29. Lots of GB love considering Dallas pretty much handed them the game at GB with 2 stupid fumbles. Other than the inability to get to Rogers in the 2nd half they outplayed the Packers in every facet.

  30. Someone ought to remind Vegas that it’s going to be a lot harder for Seattle to make it back to the Superbowl when they are forced to pay Wilson 20 million instead of 1 million.

  31. Oddsmakers seem to understand that the Steelers are going to win the division again next season.

    We’re back.

  32. Seahawks would be lucky to make the playoffs next year. The dynasty has peaked and died. They had a window of opportunity with a low paid quarterback, a slew of high draft picks (a result of their years of mediocre play) and creative use of free agency. Now they have to pay their stars while others depart for new opportunities. Pete Carroll put on a nice show but their true colors came out when they started throwing punches in response to their impending loss. And dont be surprised when the 12th man quickly fades into quiet obscurity. Hope you enjoyed it Seattle.

  33. The Super Bowl losers have not been back to the Super Bowl the following season since 1972. The smart money says they don;t make it next season. Packers, you’re up.

  34. What are the betting odds on Chip Kelly throwing away 2 years of high draft picks for the next RG3? Or the odds of that loser being back to coaching college football in the next few years?

  35. Im not sure about Seattle making it back to the playoffs let alone the SB. But after reading all these posts, I know one thing. Most of you people have no idea how to spell the word choking. It’s not chocking or chocing or choaking. Good lord people!

  36. “Patriots were built for a one year run–they are done.”

Lol do you people actually know anything about the teams you comment on ?

Pats have been in 6 SB, 9 AFCC, 13 division champs in 14 years. But yeah, a one year run. Sure.

You want to enlighten me on how many and which players you think the Pats are losing in the offseason to FA or cuts that were so vital to this whole 1 year thing ?

GREEN BAY IS 6-1? BWAHAHAHAHA. DONT THEY NEED TO GET OUT OF THE 1ST OR 2ND ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS TO GET THERE?
    ——————————————————————

Maybe you are not aware of this, but the NFC Championship game = Round 3 of the playoffs.

  38. Like most football fans I can’t stand the arrogant, CLASSLESS, and cheating Seahacks. That said, they’re in great position to compete for the title next year. They were injured and still almost won the game. They are young and have a great coach (stabs self) with stable and competent ownership.

  39. The vikings are only 60-1 when they have never won a Super Bowl or even a George Halas trophy?

Considering their division and conference that has to be the worst bet on the board.

They have to make the odds at least 150-1 to get anyone to make such a horrible bet.

  40. Carroll is going to have a hard time gaining that locker room back. Key leaders on defense, for that team, have already thrown him to the wolves because of the loss. Don’t forget all the drama when Harvin was sent packing, the “discontent” that was present then surely hasn’t disappated; also let’s not forget the whole Russell Wilson “isn’t black enough” whispers that were going through the locker room earlier in the year.

Throw in Quinn’s departure, Bevell being under-fire and their headcase runningbacks contract and it’s going to be awhile till they see another super bowl.

  41. The Seahawks are 5-1; The Pats and Pack are 6-1, confusing since both the Pats and Packers, as the teams are currently built, are better than the Seahawks. The Seahawks were lucky to even be in the Big game this year. 12 man get over yourselves.

  42. “The vikings are only 60-1 when they have never won a Super Bowl or even a George Halas trophy?”
Well I know for a fact the Vikings have at least 2 nfc championships because they played the Raiders and Chiefs in the superbowl. I wanna say they’ve been 4 times and lost them all. I guess I could just look it up. But it’s the Vikings so who cares

  43. The Broncos at 12 to 1 hahahahaha seriously they will be lucky if they get 8 wins next year, and even if they did get to the playoffs Manning will be one and done like always

  44. The Super Bowl losers have not been back to the Super Bowl the following season since 1972. The smart money says they don;t make it next season. Packers, you’re up.

    What about the Bills?

  45. Watch out for the Houston Texans. The Texans can be the AFC’s best at last. After their failed seasons of 2012 and 2013, and a step forward in 2014, this can be the year where they take the AFC.

  46. 60-1 on the Vikequeens? Sounds a bit low, but it HAS been about 60 years and nada championships for the Queens. Maybe that is where they got the 60. In reality there is a better chance of the Titanic pulling into the harbor in NY than the Queens winning a Super Bowl.

  47. Man, always count on the Miserable I guess. Seattle wins, miserable ones talk crap. Seattle loses, Miserable ones talk crap. Mind your own teams Miserable ones.

The Buffalo Bills lost 4 in a row from 1991-1994 seasons. Before that, the Denver Broncos lost in 1986-1987 seasons.

I think you’re right about the Seahawks, but let’s remember facts.

  49. If not for a fluke injury to Carson Palmer the Seahags don’t even win their division, and may not have even made the playoffs. Fortune favored them late in the season, and the fates pulled the rug out from under them.

Exactly. How about we wait until free agency and the draft have passed before we start betting?

  52. The Vikings would have 60-1 odds if they made the Super Bowl, no matter who the opponent was.

You can’t change that kind of losing culture. It is inherent in their purple pansy DNA.

No one currently alive will witness the Vikings winning the super bowl.

When asked if pigs would ever fly, scientists are now answering “yeah, right…when the Vikings win the Super Bowl.”

  53. I wouldn’t be all that surprised if it was another Seattle-New England Super Bowl next year. I really hope not but I can see it definitely happening again.

  54. Why would Seattle have the best shot at winning the Super Bowl? For one, they weren’t even the best team in their conference this season, Green Bay was. They were absolutely dominated and relied on flukes to win (fake FG TD, onside kick recovery, Rodgers INT in end zone when defense was offsides – league even admitted it). Plus, the odds of making it to three straight Super Bowl’s are not in their favor and their defensive coordinator is gone. Green Bay is the team to beat – they will win 2 of the next 5 Super Bowl’s.

Dont take the comment serious, Real. Ghost is probably a Packer fan…..not only do they constantly live in the past, but they constatly make up so called”facts” as they go.

  56. I would love to see the Packers win this year. Aaron Rodgers still has all the offensive weapons he needs, they will likely draft defense heavy, and maybe get a new TE, but they really don’t need to do a lot. They kept the important players, and that’s all that needed. Bart Starr and the Packers will always have Super Bowl 1 and 2, but it would be nice to see Rodgers and the Packers get Super Bowl 50. There’s just something special about the 50th anniversary of anything, and Rodgers needs a second ring to make his legacy that much stronger as one of the best to ever play the QB position, if he’s not already the best ever by the time he is done. Personally, I already think he is the best to ever play it, and another Super Bowl win or two would really prove it to a lot of other people.
