One of the multiple Eagles veterans cast aside before the start of free agency has found a new home.
Colts owner Jim Irsay announced Sunday morning the club had come to terms with offensive guard Todd Herremans.
According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, Herremans received a one-year contract worth up to $3.5 million.
The 32-year-old Herremans started 124 games over 10 seasons with the Eagles. A biceps injury prematurely ended his 2014 season.
Herremans likely will slide into the starting lineup at right guard with Indianapolis.
The Colts averaged 3.9 yards per carry a season ago, which ranked in the bottom half of the NFL. Quarterback Andrew Luck, meanwhile, has been sacked 100 times in regular season play in his first three NFL campaigns, though he took a career-low 27 sacks last season.
