A police report shows Minneapolis officers used a chemical spray and a stun gun on Vikings’ Tom Johnson after he refused to leave a downtown club. Johnson, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 288 pounds, was arrested early Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, after security officials and police repeatedly told him to leave Seven steakhouse in Minneapolis. Tom Johnson was hoping to parlay a breakout year into some long-term security.

He found it without going far.

According to Tom Pelissero of USA Today, the Vikings have agreed to a three-year, $7 million deal with the veteran defensive tackle.

Johnson started two games for the Vikings last year, after spending the previous three with the Saints.

But his 6.5 sacks in a rotational role also created some interest, enough to offset the looming court date on a disorderly conduct arrest.
