Steelers cornerback Antwon Blake reportedly had a bit too much to drink on Saturday night, which led him to spend some time early Sunday morning in the company of Oceanside, California law enforcement officials.

TMZ reported that Blake was arrested for public intoxication early Sunday morning when police picked him while he was walking around drunk outside of bars in Oceanside. He was taken into custody and then released once he sobered up. Jacob Klinger of PennLive.com confirmed with city police that someone with Blake’s name and birthdate was arrested and released, but further details became confidential once Blake was released.

“We are aware of the report and are still gathering information,” Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “We will have no further comment at this time.”

It doesn’t seem like there’s going to be much fallout as a result of the incident, which appears to be a case of the police giving Blake a chance to sleep it off before letting him go on his way. Blake was given a one-year tender as a restricted free agent by the Steelers, who he provided with 36 tackles during his second season with the team.
