The Chargers continue to look for depth on defense.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Chargers have agreed to a one-year deal worth $2 million plus incentives with former Saints cornerback Patrick Robinson.
Robinson, a former first-round pick, had an up-and-down run with the Saints, but has flashed potential that would indicate his draft status.
He’ll be able to slot in behind Brandon Flowers and Jason Verrett in San Diego, probably playing outside on third downs when Flowers slides inside.
Robinson was scheduled to visit the Steelers, but the Chargers apparently kept that from happening.
