  1. If the Brownies go after this guy, with all of their epic 1st round draft pick quarterback failures, their even dumber than I realized, which is really impressive, considering they’re the unquestionably worst franchise in the NFL

  2. If I was GM for the Browns i would would stand pat with my draft picks where there at and roll the dice so to speak if jff isn’t prepared that’s why they signed josh McCown to a 2 year 6 million dollar contract. You don’t pay that much to a backup and there is a 50/50 chance McCown will start the first game. The Browns signed 4 quarterbacks total and I’m sure the Browns signed Lewis, McCown Shaw and jff that they will keep 3 of the 4

To trade their future away such like Washington did a few years ago with RG3. I still laugh my ass off thinking about that epic screw up that the skins are still dealing with the repercussions and still will in the 2015 nfl draft lmfao. Draft in this years first round the best offensive linemen with the 12th pick and a the best defensive nose tackle at number 19 then go back to the offensive line for there 2 round pick stand pat with the defensive backs that they have. It isn’t McCown fault that Tampa Bay sucks it’s there defense. And make sure that they sign Danny Shelton if so forget about a defensive linemen in the first round draft the two best offensive linemen in the first round if you expect the offensive to be as good as the defense then you need to beef up the offensive line to give any quarterback time to make the most of moving the ball. Tonight i pray that they don’t screw up this year’s draft. Im sure that they want last year’s 22nd puck to pan out. And i feel like this is the best way to address the problems of last year issues

  4. If your lucky, very lucky, 3 players out of the draft will contribute. A team without a QB will never succeed. I say, stick your neck out and go after a QB that will win games for you. College ball is not producing QB’s or Corners so when one comes along, “TAKE HIM” Unless you give away many 1st rounders like Washington did, I can’t see how the Browns will get hurt giving away a couple of 1sts out of this years draft.

  5. Idiotic to take Mariota higher than #12. If he falls to the Browns at 12… go for it – I guess.

I think Mariota believers think he is the next Russell Wilson.

  6. Weak QB class this year. Most other years, Mariota would be lucky to get picked in the top 10 of the second round.

  7. I say this every year, “We have too many holes to fill without giving away draft picks.”

Mariota will be a very dependable, albeit average, QB. If he falls to #12, fine, but don’t give away any more draft picks.

We simply are not that good enough yet to give away the farm for that “one missing piece.”
