Tiquan Underwood is set to be a Ticat.
Underwood, a sixth-year wide receiver who’s had stints with the Panthers, Buccaneers, Patriots and Jaguars, has signed with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported Thursday.
The signing has not yet been announced by Hamilton.
The 28-year-old Underwood has hauled in 63 passes for 1,006 yards and six touchdowns since entering the NFL in 2009. He was most recently with Carolina, which released him during the 2014 preseason.
The Ticats have 10 wide receivers currently on the roster, including Luke Tasker and Brandon Banks, who each have prior NFL experience.
