Bruce Irvin, Jimmy Graham bury the hatchet in Hawaii

JIMMY

While Michael Bennett still has his issues with new Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham, it appears as though one member of Seattle’s defense has been able to put his history with Graham to bed.

Linebacker Bruce Irvin and Graham were involved in a pregame altercation prior to a playoff game between the Seahawks and New Orleans Saints after the 2013 season. After learning that Graham was coming to Seattle last month, Irvin didn’t appear ready to let the matter go so easily.

Nevertheless, it appears the pair have been able to smooth out their issues during informal offseason workouts in Hawaii.

Irvin tweeted a photo from his instagram account Monday of himself and Graham in fighting poses while being restrained by Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman. The caption on the photo was “Man of my word! #LoveOurBrothers.”

Seattle’s official offseason program begins on April 20. However, the Seahawks lost two days of their mandatory mini-camp practices for violating offseason contact rules last year. It should give Graham plenty of time to smooth over any remaining hurt feelings with his new teammates.
