The Steelers have added a second Australian punter to their roster.
Pittsburgh has signed Jordan Berry, a native of Essendon, Victoria, Australia who punted collegiately at Eastern Kentucky from 2010-2013. The club announced the signing earlier Tuesday.
The 24-year-old Berry averaged 43.4 gross yards per punt as a senior in 2013.
The Steelers’ incumbent punter, Brad Wing, hails from Melbourne, which is roughly 10 miles south of Essendon in Victoria. Wing punted in all 16 games for Pittsburgh last season, posting 43.7-yard gross and 38.8-yard net averages.
A third punter, University of Houston product Richie Leone, is also on the Steelers’ roster.
