Prostitutes say Warren Sapp “tackled” them as they tried to leave

AP

Warren Sapp recorded 96.5 sacks in his Hall of Fame career.

But allegedly tackling two women he was paying to get into the sack with him has earned him new acclaim.

If you thought it couldn’t get uglier than the image of Sapp naked in your head, well it did. The prostitutes Sapp was charged with soliciting at the Super Bowl told police he “tackled” them when they tried to leave his room, according to another police video obtained by TMZ.

Sapp has denied laying hands on the women, but one of them told police that after the disagreement over their fee: “He tackled us together. That’s why my leg hurts.”

The former Buccaneers defensive tackle was charged with two counts of assault, along with the solicitation charges. He was summarily fired by the NFL Network.

  1. Right or wrong, Sapp was defending his material possession from being stolen. You can scoff at a cell phones value, but it’s content that may not be able to be reproduced, may be priceless. These ho’s attempted to steal his property after they felt “dissed”. There are no winners in this cesspool.

  2. Seems concussion related and he actually thought they were quarterbacks. Hit me up Warren we’ll work this out in the courtroom.

  3. You can take Sapp out of the game, but you can’t take the game out of Sapp… Nice Sack Sapp…

  4. Daily we see a Peterson article with nothing new for weeks and now an ex Bucs player about prostitutes but not about Dogra sitting in front of a Peterson jersey with a Bucs hat on?

  5. While I disagree with using prostitutes at all, this story contradicts early statements, where Sapp was forcing them to leave and made them leave his room.

The hooker’s are making things up. Their stories are changing.

I realize it’s popular to hate on Sapp, but in this case, he was merely trying to prevent the theft of his property and make them leave.

If someone refused to leave my home? I would bodily throw them out, and screw popular opinion.

  6. The word of hookers operating as an illegal business has to be taken with a grain of salt, has Sapp been to trial on the alleged crime and been found guilty by a jury of his peers, nope,so why is he guilty in the court of popular opinion, because people dont like him personally though they dont even know him or that he is rich or both. just how much money are those hookers going to seek in the civil case they are sure to file. they may give pleasure but also pain when it comes to the rich and famous.

  7. SNL needs to do a sketch on this if they haven’t already. Have someone impersonating Ed Hochuli come in and throw a flag. Then Hochuli can explain the flag in great detail.

  8. According to Goodell isn’t it okay as long as he doesn’t hit them around the head or neck area?

  9. Please let’s all take the word of a couple of hookers.

Everyone has a bad day at work every now and then. But you suck It up and get through it.

It seems like these hookers were not pros and thought they were entitled to pick and choose their clients or services.

If there was a union for hookers these 2 would be kicked out.

  10. Hell he paid them $600, and the trick asked for a tip. I’m not condoning the tackle maneuver but he pretty much got robbed. All in all, after watching the video this whole situation is flat out hilarious.

  11. The NFL knew of this man’s horrible character, yet they allowed him to continue his idiotic rants on the network. He once bullied the kid reporters from the Nickelodian Network at the SuperBowl media day in Jax.

    1) Ever wonder why prostitution is illegal?

    2) Sapp isn’t rich. He just filed for bankruptcy.

While living in the Tampa Bay area, I met him a coupe times, did business with people that knew him, and we had several mutual acquaintances. One friend of mine ran in Sapp’s social circle, which is how I met him. You can defend him all you want, but I never met a single person that met him or knew him that had anything good to say about him, except for other Buccaneers. Most of it was horribly negative. By all accounts, he is exactly the scumbag people on here describe.

  14. Here is Jeff Triplette’s explanation:

“Personal foul on Sapp. He illegally tackled 2 hookers beyond the doorway. Even though prostitution is illegal and you are not allowed to steal cellphones Sapp is not permitted to tackle outside the hotel room box…I think? 10k fine and 1 year probation. First down!!”

  15. SMH…disappointed, the guy is HOF and ROH…old as dirt and still doesn’t know how to act. He has Derrick Brooks, who is a high character person, as a best friend and still he can’t get right…so Winston fans…I don’t know, that’s why I’m going Duck to Buc….CHARACTER DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the end! Mariota would be a good start to change.

  16. @ steves11

“Does he get credit for two sacks by tackling both of them together?”

Hilarious. Sapp is miffed he didn’t reach that 100 sack milestone, so he is doing what he can to get to that #.

After the hit on Chad Clifton by Sapp, this is all about what comes around goes around, IMHO.

Karma is a b****, isn’t it Sapp. And then you tackle two of them……

  17. Karma really is something. Sapp has been a complete jerk his entire life and it’s catching up with him. With documented injury, she can also sue him for damages, although good luck getting it from his broke fat butt.

I bet the waitresses he stiffed out of tips all these years are lol’ing big time.

Hope he made at least some friends in the NFL or UM, he’s going to need them to stay off the streets.

  18. I think he’s going to learn that in real life, the penalty for illegal contact is a whole lot more than 5 yards.

  19. This story made me laugh so hard, tears are coming out my eyes. Can you imagine Sapp living out his playing days through tackling prostitues? As if that takes him back to the glory days lol.

Oh goodness…Thanks for the story PFT.

  20. Since there were 2 girls tackeld at the same time, does he get credit for one sack, or two?

  21. A prostitute calls the police to report an assault, knowing she can get herself in trouble for being a prostitute. I believe the prostitute.

  22. Rumor has it he was flagged on the play because he came across the line too soon.

  23. The women should have worn running back numbers – then he never would have touched them.

  24. Sapp is probably a dirt bag overall, and this is embarrassing to him because it’s in the public eye, but prostitution is legal in many other countries. So he’s not the only one to ever do it! Even in America. People bashing him on this forum probably paid for some action themselves at some point in their lives, so who are they to judge?

In his defense, those girls targeted Sapp. Tried to get more money and made themselves victims for a crime they committed.

Maybe Sapp should file extortion charges? Although there wasn’t force against Sapp, why all the cameras? Here’s why! this was the prostitute’s plan in the first place.

  25. I’ve tried that once in the Holiday Inn downtown Cleveland and ended up locked out of my room naked in the hall. What does this have to do with Sapp? Nothing…I’mjust bragging.
