Greg Hardy has to abandon his Bentley on a flooded street

When it rains, it pours.

Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy capped off a memorable first full week of work in Dallas by having to abandon his Bentley when flood-waters rose around it.

According to WFAA, the Bentley was ditched near the intersection of Interstate 35 and Continental Avenue. Hardy returned to take some personal items from the car, but declined comment on anything to the news crew, before leaving in a white Ferrari while the Bentley was being pulled from the water.

Of course, this was the same day he was involved in a verbal altercation with a teammate while working out, an incident that escalated when defensive tackle Davon Coleman made reference to the domestic violence which led to his 10-game suspension.

So yeah, he’s had better weeks.

  1. What, he left the Bugatti at home? What kind of soon to be bankrupt after he stops playing football player is he?

  2. I think he had worst weeks in last yr to be honest……being in a court room getting convicted by a Judge for some serious crimes…..I’ll take losing the Bentley that I am sure is insured

  3. Ditches the Bentley, gets picked up in a Ferrari. Smoke em if you got em, but this guy will be flat broke in 10 years.

Most of the owners are billionaires, but it must be painful to pay some of these idiots millions of dollars knowing how stupidly they’ll spend it.

  4. Haters haters haters. I’m sure all the players on your teams are angels. Please stop with the judgemental hating attitudes. As if your so appalled by Greg Hardy “OMG he’s an animal, he should be locked In a cage”. PAAAALEASE

I bet if that was your daughter he beat up you wouldn’t defend him so much. The guy is nothing but a football player. You only like him because he can play football well. As a human being, he’s a total failure.

  6. I don’t believe in karma because that’s buddhism, but I do believe God doesn’t do any favors for you when you’re not living right with him and Christ.

  7. Jerry Jones would toss his Grandmama down a flight of stairs if it meant winning a game so signing Hardy is no surprise. You have to love theses Cowboy fans trying to defend the indefensible. No boys not every team in the league wants unrepentant women beaters on their team.

  8. Great. Now we’re going to get the media version of the endoscopy on every movement Hardy makes, even though all charges were dismissed and he is essentially innocent.

This guy best a 110 lb woman unconscious, think about that.

The DA had no evidence to charge him with any crime. Think about that.

Yup, all those devil worshipers in the twin towers deserved to die because they “weren’t right with Christ.” What a nice man this Christ guy must be, letting people fall to their deaths or be burned alive when he could have done them a favor.

  11. This guy makes millions of dollars a year, I can guarantee that buying a Bentley and a Ferrari isn’t going to make him broke, most of you make $20k a year and buy vehicles that cost $30k. These cars are just a small fraction of what he makes. Unless you going to tell me that make millions, you would buy a Hyundai.
Yes, what he is accused of doing is horrible, but if the victim chose to take a payoff(allegedly) then why should I be pissed, it was obviously not that bad if the “victim” didn’t put him in jail.
As for karma, yea, that doesn’t exist. As for “god”, what he does to young innocent children is far worse than what Hardy did, yet you guys celebrate and honor this “god”. Oh wait… It’s a big plan for eternal life huh? Lol

  12. Haha… Let them hate, that’s all they have… Funny how a guy getting stuck in the rain is more relevant and newsworthy than anything your team does… And if your Bentley gets stuck, and you’re picked up by a Ferrari… It’s not that bad a day.., Carry on Haters, your opinions, like your teams, do not matter.

See, the thing is it’s April 25th. You want to know which teams are the best-run, owned and operated? The ones who aren’t doing anything newsworthy right now. If your players are leading the news for off-field issues, that is not something you want to call attention to. Because, you know, it’s APRIL.

  14. Karma??? How so? Nobody imposed their will on Hardy where he could do nothing about it. That was a low-blow by Coleman in response to being called out for half-stepping during workouts. If Hardy’s skin is thick as the amount of firearms he owns, that comment should have rolled off as if he was the Teflon Man, one Ronald Reagan.

  15. O shut up already

You people crying over spilled milj
Half of you commit illegal crimes every day the critizie the people who do the same.. Shame on you. Respect your parents and grow up. At least hardy can live on his own, can the most of you?,

America’s team?, are you a moron? Patriots hernandez. The other bozo TE Gronkowski was in the news for partying during the playoffs. You people are so twisted and backwards you are literally no different than greg. The media is nothing more than a scam

  16. The prosecuting attorney drained to pursue the misdemeanor conviction of a Uber feminist judge in the midst of a reelection campaign. They did not trust the “victim”. No witnesses or evidence presented at trial. No medical treatment. First two 911 calls from Greg asking for help removing a scorned, coked out, drunk former groupie from his residence. He tells operator he can’t put his hands on her

  17. She can be heard screaming that she is not letting go of the door, he can’t make her leave and he will have to break her arm to make her turn loose of the door. Do some research and stop hating. A hat r r is just a confused admirer. I understand even if you are incapable of telling yourselves the truth. Get a life.

  18. Joe sounds like a crazy liberal defending a minority while having to bring religion into the argument when it has nothing to do with it in the first place.

  19. Great. Now we’re going to get the media version of the endoscopy on every movement Hardy makes, even though all charges were dismissed and he is essentially innocent.

“Greg Hardy, Cowboys teammate fight after ‘woman beater’ comment”

This is yesterday’s headline from SB Nation, apparently Goodell wants to suspend him for 6 mores games. The fact that it didn’t happen is irrelevant.

  20. And folks wonder why these pro athletes are bankrupt 5 years after they retire. . . .

  21. “mikebrownistheworstownerinprosports says: I don’t believe in karma because that’s buddhism, but I do believe God doesn’t do any favors for you when you’re not living right with him and Christ.”

You’re a Christian because you grew up in the US or other Christian nation. If you were born and raised in Asia, you would probably be a Buddhist. In India, a Hindu. In the middle East, a Muslim.

Stop with your judgementalism. This is a sports site. And yeah, it was instant karma.

  22. Don’t forget Jerry had his wife give up her 1st class seat, for his beloved Romo, when playing in London, last season, in order for Romo, to play against the Jaguars, because of Weeden spectacular game against the Cardinals. Jerry will do anything to get Romo & Witten that 4th coveted Super Bowl ring. Hardy is just part of the plain. Jerry is tying desperately to build the Cowboys of the 90′ s.

  23. Poor baby. I feel so bad for Hardy. He’s really suffering right now, isn’t he?

The Cowboys are turning into the modern-day Oakland Raiders. Remember back in the day when the Raiduhs used to collect bad boys by the dozen? All of sudden the Cowboys are headed that way. If they end up getting Adrian Peterson on their roster they can have a woman beater and a child abuser at the same time. America’s team–ha! And Romo thinks they’re going to win a Super Bowl this year???? If Dallas doesn’t watch out, they’re going to give the Patriots a run for their money as the most sociopathic team in pro football.

  24. “If they end up getting Adrian Peterson on their roster they can have a woman beater and a child abuser at the same time.”

Who would be the woman beater in that scenario? Can’t be Hardy since his charges were dismissed due to lack of evidence.

  25. I am a Cowboys fan.
I didn’t like the move when Jerry made it….I’m sure it wasn’t from his son. Hopefully, this will be one of JJ’s last publicity moves as an owner —-to grab a high profile player. I really see Hardy being a non factor when he comes back from his suspension.

  26. Boo hoo, an overpaid obnoxious athlete lost something that most of us on here will probably never be able to afford. I respect the fact that it’s his money to spend as he pleases, but I’ll never understand spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on something that depreciates like a car.

  27. Just for clarification purposes, there is a difference between being innocent and the state not pursuing charges because the main witness backed out.

  28. To all the comments on karma, just hoping for the worst for this guy, but forget that his car is insured. The insurance company is the one is who is gonna take it in the shorts on this one.

For a $500 deductible plus registration, he’ll get a brand new replacement Bentley. He’s going to come out of this like a bandit.

I had a total loss on my car in a similar situation (not a Bentley obviously) and ended up with brand new car of the same model plus $2000 extra in cash from the insurance company.
