No. 12 pick becomes key piece of Eagles-Titans deal

Yes, the Eagles are trying to move from No. 20 to No. 2. Yes, the Eagles are willing to move quarterback Sam Bradford in order to make that happen.

The key to putting the various pieces together could be the 12th overall pick, currently held by the Browns.

It would require the Eagles to strike a deal with the Browns, which would send Bradford to Cleveland and the 12th pick to Tennessee. Presumably, the Eagles would have to give up even more to Cleveland -- and possibly would have to assume the contract of quarterback Johnny Manziel.

So before figuring out what it would take to get from No. 20 to No. 2, the question becomes what it will take to get from Bradford to No. 12. Ultimately, the Eagles may have to pull off both deals in order to bring Mariota to Philadelphia.
