Cardinals may spend some time in West Virginia

The NFL-quality practice facility built last year for the Saints at the Greenbrier in West Virginia may get some extra use this year, and not by the Saints.

Per a league source, the Cardinals are considering spending the week in West Virginia between an October 11 game at Detroit and an October 18 game at Pittsburgh.

Last year, the Greenbrier quickly built a practice facility for the Saints, who spent three weeks of training camp there. The Saints will be returning in 2015.

Moving forward, the Greenbrier could become a convenient spot for West Coast teams who have back-to-back road games in the East Coast, and who don’t want to travel back and forth and back. And forth.
