An Southeastern Conference starting quarterback is one of four rookie passers trying out for Kansas City at the club’s weekend minicamp.

Bo Wallace, the starter at Ole Miss the last three seasons, is taking part in the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp, according to a roster of participants released by the club.

Wallace (6-3, 211) completed 229-of-381 passes for 3,194 yards with 22 TDs and 14 interceptions last season for the Rebels.

The other quarterbacks trying out for Kansas City are Colorado State-Pueblo’s Chris Bonner (6-6, 231), Louisiana Tech’s Cody Sokol (6-1, 210) and Richmond’s Michael Strauss (6-2, 211).

The Chiefs have four quarterbacks on the roster, with Chase Daniel, Aaron Murray and Tyler Bray backing up Alex Smith.
