The Browns have struck two more deals with drafted rookies.
Washington State wide receiver Vince Mayle (Round Four) and USC linebacker Hayes Pullard (Round Seven) are the latest rookies to sign with Cleveland, with the team announcing the moves Monday. The Browns have now signed 10-of-12 draft picks.
As a senior, Mayle (6-2, 225) hauled in 106 passes for 1,483 yards and nine touchdowns for the Cougars. The lone wide receiver drafted by Cleveland in 2015, Mayle stands a strong chance of making the roster, though he likely figures as a reserve in Year One.
Pullard (6-1, 240) led the Trojans in tackles in 2014 (95), adding eight pass breakups and one interception. He’ll try to stick as a reserve and as a special teams competitor.
Miami (Fla.) tailback Duke Johnson (Round Three) and Northwestern safety Ibraheim Campbell (Round Four) are the Browns’ lone unsigned draft choices.
