PFT Live: Hines Ward, Vikings talk with Matt Vensel

Running back Adrian Peterson returned to the Vikings fold on Tuesday, ending an exile from the team that started when he was charged with child abuse last September.

Peterson has been free to return to the team since the middle of April, but stayed away from workouts as he tried to shake loose some more guaranteed money over the final two years of a contract that currently has no guaranteed cash. On Tuesday, though, Peterson said it was time to move forward and Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune will join Mike Florio on PFT Live to discuss where that forward movement will take Peterson and the team.

Hines Ward of Football Night in America will also join Florio during the show to take a run through all of the biggest stories in the NFL at the moment.

We also want to hear what PFT Planet thinks. Email questions at any time via the O’Reilly Auto Parts Ask the Pros inbox or get in touch on Twitter at @ProFootballTalk to let us know what’s on your mind.

It all gets started at noon ET and you can listen to all three hours live via the various NBC Sports Radio affiliates, through the links at PFT, or with the NBC Sports Radio app. You can also watch a simulcast of the first hour of the show by clicking right here.

  1. I will save everybody some time. Here is all you need to know:

“Blah blah blah, the Steelers are awesome, blah blah blah, the Patriots are cheaters and I would have won more rings without them cheating, blah blah blah, the Steelers are way more awesome than the Ravens, blah blah blah, I was soooo awesome at everything I have ever done, blah blah blah”

  2. Loved Ward as a player but he must have compromising pictures on some NBC folks. The man NEVER has anything of any substance to say and I do mean never. Good grief dude, SAY SOMETHING! Anything. He just repeats the question followed by nothing. Enough already.

  3. It’s been well documented that the Pats are too tough to beat when they bring their A* game.

  4. I prefer the video of Jarrett Johnson putting Ward’s smile down his throat!
