Tom Brady’s father blasts “NFL propaganda,” calls Roger Goodell a “flaming liar”

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has still not spoken publicly regarding the Ted Wells report, the suspension, and its aftermath.

Brady’s father now has. On the radio. Angrily.

Deadspin has the audio, and it’s worth a listen. It’s worth many listens.

And it’s definitely him. I called Tom Curran of CSN New England, who has spoken to Tom Brady Sr. on multiple occasions, and played some of it for Curran. Curran confirmed that it is indeed Brady’s dad.

Tom Sr. called KGO on Friday after host Chip Franklin raised the goofy question of whether fans should prefer having Tim Tebow to Tom Brady on their favorite team.

Tom Sr. started by appropriately telling the host that he is “being silly.”

“That’s a stupid question,” Tom Sr. added.

The wisdom of what Tom Sr. had to say later in the call probably will be the subject of debate within the Brady family and/or within the Patriots organization and/or within 345 Park Avenue. Regardless, here’s what he said after the host referred to some of the facts of the case.

“Is that the same facts that Chris Mortensen put out?” Tom Sr. said, speaking passionately. “That all the balls were underinflated by two pounds? That’s all lies. It’s all ESPN. It’s all NFL propaganda. Don’t you get it? . . .

“The only person who has testified under oath in this is Tom Brady,” Tom Sr. continued. “We know Goodell has lied. He lied in the Ray Rice case, he lied in this case, he has lied in the [Adrian] Peterson case. How many times do you need to know that this guy is a flaming liar?”

Tom Sr. also confirmed that Brady and the Patriots first became aware of the actual PSI numbers measured at halftime of the AFC title game on March 28, which is true. But the host immediately insisted that’s not what the NFL said.

“Who’s believing the NFL?” Tom Sr. said. “It’s a freaking kangaroo court? Are you kidding me?”

As a father, I love the passion. I love the emotion. And I would have had a hard time saying something other than “freaking” if I believed the name I share with my son had unfairly been dragged through the mud. But my son probably would be mortified by my public defense of him.

Chances are reporters soon will be asking Tom Jr. what he thinks of what his dad said.

  1. That is not the voice of Tom Brady Senior. I’m shocked so many outlets have run with this. Its not his dad at all. Also, he doesn’t call his son “brady” as the caller did multiple times.

  2. Man! I had no idea how good it would feel to hear someone call a spade a spade.

Go Tom, Sr., Go! It’s not like they can suspend or fine you. “Flaming liar”. Bingo!

  3. Like father like son I guess. Mr. Brady raised himself a good successful son but he’s also a flaming liar.

  4. Like Tom JR, Tom SR was 100% right. I tell you someone should go to jail for the absolute murder of Tom Bradys character and legacy.

  5. YES!!! I LOVE IT. What most have been saying all along. Keep pounding Goodell Media and anyone that has a say.

Ive ssid Goodell is a compulsive liar. Anyone with a half a brain knows it.

  6. Tom Brady’s father blasts “NFL propaganda,” calls Roger Goodell a “flaming liar who doesn’t understand that CHEATING is a skill a father passes down to a son”

  7. Again, a lot of big talk AFTER a judge found fault with the process that the NFL applied to this case. Hey Pop, news flash! Your son was NOT EXONERATED. I’m still hopeful that ALL of the evidence will be uncovered and analyzed. I’d like to see everyone involved testify under oath where they risk the penalty of perjury. Brady is a cheat and should be punished for it.

  8. Hopefully the Tom Brady Jr. response to any questions on what his father said will be:

My dad did not say anything about ESPN and Roger Goodell that all of you did not already know.

I doubt that will be the response of Tom Brady Jr., but one can dream.

  9. The NFL, ESPN and Bob Kravitz spent 8 months slandering Tom Brady, lying and deliberately misinforming fans. They did everything they could to remove honesty, integrity, fairness and professionalism from this situation. They are just beginning to reap what they sowed. The payback will go on for a long, long time.

  10. Tom Sr. Owned the radio host. That’s what happens when you open your mouth without educationing yourself. Sad thing is, there’s a bunch of them out there.

  11. The bigger question is what exactly is the NFL hiding? What’s in the notes & investigators files they would not release? Why were they afraid to let Pash testify? What’s the big secret?

  12. What is wrong with what he said? Roger Goodell and the NFL have lied on several occasions. They stood up in a court of law and told the judge the report was “Independent” if that is not a lie I dont what is.

The NFL spent 7 months and couldn’t find proof that anything happened. And Brady was the ONLY guy to testify under oath.

Pretty clear that Brady needs to file that defamation suit against the NFL if only to get the truth out.

  14. Goodell’s flaws in handling big issues have been on full display since BountyGate, only back then most people were still buying what he was selling. How many more situations does he have to totally screw up before something changes?

  15. In a court of law there are rules of evidence enforced by a judge. In the NFL kangaroo court, there are no rules but one. The NFL wins at any cost.

Again, a lot of big talk AFTER a judge found fault with the process that the NFL applied to this case. Hey Pop, news flash! Your son was NOT EXONERATED….

How many times do I have to point out that Brady was exonerated by the NFL’s own lawyers before Judge Berman’s ruling?

The NFL’s own lawyers admitted to Judge Berman that they have no evidence against Brady. If there is no evidence of guilt, then he is innocent and exonerated.

Judge Berman could not officially pronounce Brady innocent, because that was not his job in this case, but he did get the NFL lawyers to effectively admit that Brady is innocent.

Why is that so difficult to understand?

No Tom, your son is the flaming liar!
——————————————————-Says the clown who wouldn’t know a fact if it hit him like Clay Matthews concussing Russell Wilson.

  18. The gist: feigning some righteous indignation is sure to throw ’em off our scent.

I can’t wait for Pats fans to realize the only reason they won their first Super Bowl in more than a decade, despite the gravy division they play in, is because they actually had something resembling a defense. No Revis and Browner = another January embarrassment at home from the Ravens. No more chest-beating in February. They’ll all be back in their mouse holes.

  19. It amazes me how people condemn Tom Brady for allegedly cheating when the Wells-Pash report exonerates him and then give a total pass to Goodell for falsifying evidence, witness tampering, and lying about sworn testimony.

It’s almost like the haters don’t really care about integrity and just want to attack Brady and the Patriots….

Yes, too few of us are not educationed.

  21. So much whimpering about cheating still. NFL fans cry more than NBA players. As for Brady’s dad? I have no problem with this. The NFL and ESPN need to be called out. It is not too late for them to admit that they were wrong and salvage some face.

Nobody wants this more than Pats fans. Let’s see all the records from the NFL’s investigation, let’s have Pash subject to examination by the NFLPA lawyers, let’s have Kensil testify under oath. Let’s have the NFL office staff subject to the same scrutiny that Tom Brady has been subjected to. Since this is about “integrity” I am sure no one will object to this. Tom Brady volunteered to testify under oath, why has NO ONE else been willing to testify under oath?

  23. I apologize for injecting reason into all of this. You all act like everything is so black and white, cut and dry when there is tons of grey area. Can Goodell and Brady both be right and wrong? Could Goodell and Ray Rice both be wrong? Could Goodell and the Saints both be right and wrong? The answer is yes. This society simply wants to win arguments rather than solve problems. Look in the mirror.

Oh, I thought the Bradys were taking the high road….

Oh I hope that Tom Brady does not take the high road.

I hope that when anyone from ESPN not named Tedy Bruschi approaches Tom Brady for an interview, that Brady makes it clear to them what part of their anatomy they should stick their microphone.

There are, of course, also plenty of media members outside of ESPN who should also have their microphones anatomically misplaced should they approach Brady for an interview.

  25. tom brady lied his arse off and got by with it after destroying his cell phone. like father, like son!

  26. Goodell and Pash need to testify under oath. I want Brady to file the defamation lawsuit.

I will guarantee you Goodell, Kensil, and Pash concocted, and orchestrated and executed this entire sham and sting operation.

Its funny how all 3 escaped testifying under oath. Depose this scumbags and force them to testify under oath in the defamation suit.

I want all 3 of these scumbags in prison

  27. Vincent admitted he did not understand that footballs naturally deflate as they cool. What more do you really need to know. The NFL went off on a witch hunt on the basis of a bogus assumption and never had the courage to admit they were wrong from the outset.

  28. Regardless of how you feel about the whole deflated football allegations, Goodell has been shown, once again, that the truth shall never pass his lips. He is undeniably a huge liar and hypocrite but some fans still want to take his words as above reproach. It takes a special type of stupid to take his word for it but, sadly, there’s plenty of takers out there.

What’s clear to me is that Kraft and Belichick are complicit in Brady’s cheating. Kraft conceded a fine and draft picks. Just put your emotions aside and think about that. No innocent person would do that. Kraft knew Belichick and Brady were guilty and this was Kraft’s attempt to placate his buddy Goodell. Belichick cheated before and would have faced a severe penalty if uncovered. Brady was willing to solely take the blame with an attempt to save his good name. He got lucky as the NFL’s process was flawed per the ruling judge. Sweat the ball boys under oath and it will all come out. You’ll see.

  36. Example of NFL lie:

McNally and Jastremski were suspended. It came out they were suspended at the league’s direction.

    The league denied this.

In the Berman decision he quotes the Vincent letter to the Patriots:

“neither [McNally nor Jastremski] may be reinstated without my prior approval. If and when he resumes working for the Patriots, Mr. Jastremski is prohibited from having any role in the preparation, supervision, or handling of footballs to be used in NFL games during the 2015 season…Mr. McNally is barred from serving as a locker room attendant for the game officials, or having any involvement with preparation, supervision, or handling of footballs or any other equipment on game day.”

    The league denied this.

    The league lies.

  37. I see Goodell’s paid posters are out in force today. Can’t have Roger(Moe Howard) called a liar.

  38. Ha-ha I love when people say karma will get the patriots. Are you guys too stupid to realize they won the super bowl by intercepting a pass at the ONE YARD LINE? It’s loathesome.

  41. I am sure Tom would have preferred his dad refrained from calling in but kudos to him for sticking up for his son when some clown is talking smack.

  43. I’m beginning to believe that more of these inane hater posts that make no sense other than to spew abject lies, are the work by one guy using a number of user names. I just hate to believe that our country could produce 20 or so people that brain dead, or malicious.

BTW+ Brady’s father said what many people were thinking and it was well past time. The real shame of it is that Radio host that Brady Sr ass hurt, is now back home ecstatic that a story about him is being repeated on PFT and other outlets.

The fact that he was humiliated on a national level has NO meaning for the brain dead mediots. The ONLY thing that this scum cares about is how man clicks his site gets because he was so stupid. Somehow in this day and age trolling is what makes the media successfull. It doesn’t matter about the truth.

This asshat made outrageous and untrue remarts that he probably knew were wrong, but instead of being fired for incompetence, he’ll probably get a raise

  44. I love the fact that he called Goodell out for lying in the Rice and Petersen cases as well.

What the haters can’t get their heads around is the fact that Goodell, his minions, and their lawyers have been outed for who they really are. They are modern day Pinkertons who do the dirty work for the owners. They are the muscle for the bosses. To get a great perspective on how low on the integrity scale they were I suggest watching one of the best shows in television history, Deadwood.

  45. Brady and his dad are the ones who are silly…. you guys really don’t think that we realize all the cheating that has been going on?

TB, BB and the Pats will always be remembered for being cheaters

  52. Yeah, Brady really needs to explore the possibilty of filing a defamation lawsuit against ESPN, Ted Wells and the NFL commissioners office. But filing suit against the NFL is risky

  53. news flash.. The judge didnt say Tom was innocent … He said the NFL can’t make up punishments as they go along… (Nothing to do with Tom’s innocence… Everything to do with the collective bargaining agreement)

  54. It’s strange that some posters keep saying Tom cheats, yet the NFL told Judge Berman there was no evidence. On page 7 of his 40 page ruling ( the one it’s obvious many of you didn’t bother to read) , he quotes in bold type from the Wells/Pash report. It states ” our scientific consultants informed us that data alne did not provide a basis for them to determine with absolute certainty whether there was or not tampering, as the analysis of such data is ultimately dependent upon assumptions and information that is uncertain ”
The fact that Judge Berman included this in the ruling & kept putting independent in quotes tells you he also thought the Wells/ Pash report did not prove there was any tampering!

  55. If we are weighing the lies and misinformation on the scales of justice. The “propaganda” that has been allowed on this very sight by Patriots fans alone, wouldn’t allow for anything the vast conspiracy of, the opponents, the office of the commissioner, and ESPN, to even get off the ground. The sheer volume of lies and misinformation by the NFL and it’s associated shills is beyond rational comprehension.

I mean, the very first piece of information about this whole fiasco perpetrated by the NFL was a blatant lie, that, despite being debunked months ago, was only recently removed from Twitter.

  65. Good for Tom Sr. He is allowed to tell the truth. His son would be fined for telling the truth, which is that Roger Goodell is a liar. Bill Simmons was suspended the house organ, ESPN, for saying that very same thing. Telling the truth is not a bad thing. Tom Brady took the high road, despite all of this putting a strain on his marriage and ruining months of his life. Granted, he has lived a charmed life, but Brady is a good guy and that’s why everyone associated with him loves him. If you think Peyton Manning gets the same loyalty and admiration from all of his former teammates, you’re sadly mistaken. Brady is the real thing. That’s the reason I believe him.

  66. The only principal in the litigation who has made statements under oath and subject to perjury is Tom Brady. I would love to see that lying sack of excrement Roger Goodell have to testify under oath.

  67. Couple points – The Radio Host can now get his awesome QB, since the Eagles just released Tebow.

Like Tom or not, Brady Sr. is absolutely correct, Goodell lied, at LEAST twice in this process. Once when he said that Wells would be investigating league behavior and leaks, and second when he lied about Brady’s testimony under oath.

Forget what you think about the Patriots folks, you’ve got a Commissioner openly, and unashamedly lying to everyone, repeatedly (Ray Rice tape, and the above).

Not saying you should change your opinion of the Patriots, but at least be a bit more skeptical when the League says…well, anything. That includes their media branches, NFLN and ESPN.

    ———————–
Not the way it will go down, dear. If the appeals court rules this year, which is a big if, they most likely will refer it back to Berman (that happens most of the time). Berman will then rule on the charges he left aside this time. Evident Partiality most likely and he will again vacate Brady’s suspension, at which time the NFL could appeal again. If the 3 judge panel doesn’t send it back to Berman, if they rule for either side, the other side can get an injunction to stay the decision and appeal to the full panel of judges, that will take us to 2017….and they will most likely remand the case back to Berman so no matter what happens Brady will probably be retired by the time any possible suspension can be implemented. And you’re wrong about Brady’s father, too, like all of us Pats fans, he’s prouder of Tom today than ever and looking forward to another lombary or two…..evidence, proof, facts….they’re all on our side. Envy, jealousy, pettiness are on yours.

Judge Berman wanted to know where the direct evidence was that Tom Brady was generally aware of, knew or orchestrated deflating of the official NFL footballs used in the first half of the AFC championship game against the Colts. With the facts in the transcripts coming out how can the die hard haters of the Patriots still continue to back the big lie perpetrated by Roger Goodell, the NFL and Attorney Ted Wells.

  71. I’m on the side that believes Brady had something to do with it but all this bad publicity for Goodell is music to my ears.

  72. The NFL was how Tom Brady ammased incredible wealth. I don’t care what the NFL did, I would be too grateful to criticize them

Jastremski and McNally are the fall guys. Brady sold them out.

I am waiting for both of them to speak publicly. But the Brady’s will take the high road and pay them for their silence.

    ————————
Brady stood up for both Jastremski and McNally, he said that he did not believe they deflated the balls, he said he didn’t believe anyone tampered with the balls, he testified under oath that he called Jastremski and asked him if he tampered with the ball, Brady then testified that he believed him when he said no. As for them breaking their silence, remember that they were interviewed 4 times, Wells interrogated them for over 7 hours and not one word of there testimony made his report…..because not one word of what they said fit his agenda. The NFL could have brought McNally and Jastremski into the appeals hearing and had them testify before Goodell…..they didn’t because nothing the two had to say helped the NFL’s case.

  74. This is all too funny ! We all know that TB knew how his football’s were prepared and if you don’t then you have never played any collegiate or professional level football. Shannon Sharp described the circumstances best in how equipment managers & assistants “must” cater to their football players needs and especially their star athletes. “You do what they tell you to do or your done !” So that being said, TBSr. was just as concerned that his son’s judgement, if it had gone the other way would have tarnished his son’s legacy. The judge never found TB to be innocent so this just looks like a classless act from an even bigger child then his son ! Whatever, it’s not over. Like an old USC team mate of mine that went on to play for the 49’ers (Riki Ellison) said yesterday that “both men, (Brady & Goodell) were both guilty in pursuit of the truth.” I”m inclined to agree with his observation. So i find it extremely hypocritical to listen to all TBSr’s. grandstanding. He should be humble and thanking his stars things turned out “so far” in his son’s favor.

Once again… Nothing to do with Tom Brady’s innocence
    ______________
But you’re forgetting that Judge Berman made the NFL admit in open court that they had no evidence of any wrongdoing. So the NFL took care of that and Judge Berman took care of the rest.
    —————————
If the Judge “took” care of that the NFL would have no grounds for an appeal… I think they have appealed it. This is more about labor (unions) verse management than Tom’s innocence. Yes.. They didn’t “catch” Tom or the “deflator” (who the Pats fired for “losing weight” on the job apparently) on video letting air out of the ball… But you don’t destroy evidence if you are not guilty… Unless your Hillary Clinton of course.
If they would’ve fined Tom for deflating balls- “tampering” the $25000 that is in the collective bargaining agreement it would’ve stood and Tom is still a cheater. They just didn’t have a precedence to suspend him.

  76. Mr. Brady I congratulate you for waiting until the process ran its course. As yourself I’m a very proud farther of a son who exsemplifys strength diginity and honor at all times, and especially when know ones looking. That is a testement to the attributes that were instilled in him by you and your family! That said, your timely response is on point and exactly what I would expect from a Gentleman that you are!

  77. Patriots fans. You’re wasting your time!

Tom Brady and the NFLPA won the case, but the NFL won the PR war.

Its clear that most of the posters have read only the headlines and never bothered to read any of the reports or transcripts in this case. They’d rather believe the NFL “leaks” like Mortenson’s report of deflated footballs that was found to be blatantly false, yet is probably still up on his website even after Judge Berman’s ruling. Either that our they would like to believe Tom Brady, who has never been anything but a class act and an outstanding representative of the NFL, is a liar and not the only proven liar, over and over again, in this matter – Roger Goodell.

We KNOW Tom Brady knew the rule about legal PSI’s because he had to bring it to the officials when they inflated a ball to 16 – well above the average range in the Jets game.

Yes, he wanted the balls on the lower end, but the lower end of the legal limit – 12.5 psi. That’s public knowledge, just as Aaron Roger’s prefers them at the higher end. So, it was the job of Jastremski (daily) and McNally (game days) that the make sure the balls were at the 12.5psi. Might not you be jokingly called “The Deflator” if it was your job to be sure the balls coming out of the box from the manufacturer were DEFLATED to 12.5?

  78. At this point, Roger Goodell should be less concerned about his reputation and more concerned with any possible interest he and his organization may receive from, say, Loretta Lynch.

  79. Oh please, please please Roger, file a defamation suit against TB12 Snr. You are sure to win, all you have to do is prove that you are not a flaming liar. What could possibly go wrong?

  80. This comes under the “Celebrities can’t sue” heading.

Goodell used it against Vilma, Jon had him dead to rights, but Vilma’s celebrity got in the way. Now, Goodell can’t even try head off this kind of talk. In other words, the retard He got hoisted by his own petard.

Anyone can make any disparaging remark about Goodell … and they’re usually right.

  81. Thank you Mike,

I really enjoyed listening to Tom’s dad.

And I agree that “my son probably would be mortified by my public defense of him.”

He made great points and Chip had not done his homework and so could not intelligently respond.

It was also fun to hear Chip’s lame excuse for his ignorance by saying to Dad. Your are his father. He tried to completely ignore the facts of the matter.

I also want to thank the haters because your lame canards are just plain stupid now and I don’t waste a second on them anymore. Thank you for your predictable trite attempts at insults they are so BORING; but I can easily skip over them now. What a waste of life.

And Tom Brady has made more money for the NFL than they have paid him and they railroaded him with lies.

Never let the facts get in the way though.

Brady senior is just another nobody whose little boy can do no wrong.

    2 3

And you are another stupid poster on PFT that doesnt have a clue.

  84. Circumstancial evidence shows Pats didn’t doctor the balls:
One, there was no scheme of deflating footballs. If Pats had cheated for years, ON SOMETHING NO BODY CARED, then
How is it possible that million dollar investigation failed to find any hard evidence, not even a text message between Brady and McNally?
How is it possible that McNally had to worry about not getting signed gifts from brady if he had helped Brady cheat for years?
As a result, “deflator” can’t possibly mean deflating footballs based on the logic that an explanation is unacceptable if it implies something highly impossible.

Two, “needle” is actually an evidence in favor of Pats, combined with 16 psi which created another scenario that is more likely than the one given by Wells report.
“needle” was mentioned after game when ref overinflate balls to 16psi, is it possible that “needle” was intended for the games when ref over inflate the footballs? Yes, it is far more likely than it would be used to deflate balls to psi lower than 12.5 If you think the needle was broken in that game, the chance that it happened in THE game (when ref overinflate balls to 16) is 1/16, like 6.25%. BTW how did McNally doctored the balls before he got the needle?

So even circumstancial evidence shows that more likely pats didn’t doctor the footballs, as long as you know how to think logically and critically.

  85. It doesn’t mean a thing even if Brady let the air out personally and they caught it on video. Every single NFL team has cheated and will cheat this NFL season. When your favorite team plays this season ask yourself why the coach of the other team is covering his mouth when he calls in the plays. As yourself was that honest when you see a player on your team try to deceive an official. My point is, you have no right to feel all high and mighty about your team and point your crooked finger at them unless you are will to do the same about each team in the league. So suck it up buttercup, your team are not the champions, your team is not the one with the most wins since 2001, those things belong to the Patriots who have played just as legal as your team..

  86. Brady didn’t lie. And he put up 4 yd passes in the second half as judge berman said. Get over it haters. If the NFL fined him 5k like the rule states for an equipment violation, this would’ve ended then. The NFL office is a rightly being ridiculed for their “independent” and sleazy conduct. Judge berman himself also said there was no direct evidence against Brady. The NFL filed the court motion first because they thought a NY judge would rule more favorably and they got their ass handed to them.

I love how now Pats fans believe that nothing happened at all. What about those texts between McNally and Jastremski talking about Brady and deflating the balls?
    ————————–

You delusional bozos go on and on about the text messages, even though not a single one of them mentions anything about deflating footballs.

Most of them deal with the refs over-inflating footballs, and Brady telling Jastremski to show the refs the page in the rule book about the proper air pressure.

How you idiots turned that around into some scheme to deflate footballs is beyond the comprehension of rational thought.

    Example of NFL lie:

McNally and Jastremski were suspended. It came out they were suspended at the league’s direction.

    The league denied this.

In the Berman decision he quotes the Vincent letter to the Patriots:

    •••••••••••••••••••••••

I love how now Pats fans believe that nothing happened at all. What about those texts between McNally and Jastremski talking about Brady and deflating the balls?

You guys are like the people who supported OJ Simpson’s acquittal.

“You weren’t there, you don’t know for sure what happened.”

    It’s loathesome.

    —————————–

I love how you haters can’t read. The texts between McNally and Jastremski were about OVER inflating footballs because they were pissed at Tom for chewing them out over footballs that were too hard in the Jets game. Read it again. They say Eff Brady and that they’ll give Brady a rugby ball, a balloon next time. They didn’t talk about deflating balls. But let’s just make stuff up. THAT’S what’s loathsome.

  89. For everyone looking for “facts” there are some available and some others not. First, no one knows the testimony of NFL lawyer Jeff Pash, or the notes that Ted Wells took, because they did not make them available to Tom Brady and the NFLPA, shady much? Secondly, for the facts, and what everyone seems to be over looking, per the Wells report, directly from the report, 3 of the 4 Colts balls that were measured were ALSO FOUND TO BE UNDER THE ACCEPTED Psi levels. Why was Andrew Luck not fined? why were the Colts not punished? No one is talking about this because Wells found that those balls were deemed to be underinflated due to the conditions, yet not for the Patriots, whose balls 5 of 11 were deemed to be intentially underinflated? How can it be one way for the Colts and not the Patriots? What happened to common snse? for real, you people need to read the whole Wells report, If you are a rational human being and cannot see what this witch hunt truly was, then you need some serious psychological help!

  90. Hater 101:

Lesson 1: How to respond to indisputable facts that show that Goodell lied and fabricated evidence against Brady in FrameGate, and which indicate that Brady is “more likely than not” to have NOT engaged in any wrong doing as the footballs weren’t even deflated

Answer: Ignore the question and simply repeat like a child “Brady cheated” because the last thing you want to do is listen to logic

  91. I have a few thoughts:
I get the feeling that all the negative ppsts about Tom Brady are making the case for him to win a defamation lawsuit against Goodell. He should include them in his lawsuit.

If all this started based on misinformation about the balls being underinflated, there is NO case, so how and why did it get this far? The only reason i see is for Goodell to line his friends’ pockets with money that would be better served helping the explayers for, at the very least, psychological help to prevent any more suicides.

Based on the very basis that the punishment brought onto Brady by Goodell that Tom Brady was “generally aware” that the balls were underinflated, shouldn’t he also have included all the Pats recievers and all the players who may have intercepted his passes and not said a word? (I wonder what Shannon Sharpe has to say about this?).

I have lost respect for the professional players who have spoken negatively about Brady, especially Montana and Rice. I don’t believe they should have thrown a member of their society “under the bus”. It makes Montana look desperate because Brady is about to (or may already have), surpassed him as the “Greatest Ever”. Also Aikmen (et all), without knowing the facts.

Just as quick as they were to offend him, they need to be just as quick to defend them, and similarly, on TV.

  92. It’s just plain lazy and agenda-driven when non-fans of the Patriots yell “cheater” in the face of FACTS.

The balls were not deflated by human hand. Proven. Done with.

If uninformed pre-determined-outcome mobs are what we’re listening to instead of proven scientific facts, we all need our heads examined.

Yelling and screaming “cheater” will never make you feel better for your losses, and more importantly….correct.
