Rams go up on Seahawks, with Nick Foles showing his wheels

The Rams continue to hit the Seahawks with an unconventional running game.

And calling Nick Foles’ touchdown run unconventional is probably the most generous thing you could say.

The Rams quarterback just scored on perhaps the slowest bootleg in NFL history, falling into the end zone to give the Rams at 17-13 lead over the Seahawks.

Coupled with a rushing touchdown by wide receiver Tavon Austin, they’re covering for the fact their top two running backs are both out today. Austin then followed with a 75-yard punt return touchdown, giving the Rams a 23-13 lead.

But it’s their defense that is standing up, limiting the Seahawks throughout the day, with their only touchdown coming on a punt return.
