Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was wearing a large protective wrap on his right elbow Monday when the team’s locker room was open to reporters, but Stafford said he’ll be “good to go” next Sunday when the Lions play at Minnesota.

Though Stafford participated in the Lions’ limited Monday activities, he declined further comment.

Stafford finished Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Chargers wearing an elbow sleeve but did not start the game wearing one. He put on the sleeve after taking a hit while delivering a pass in the third quarter.

The Lions lost, 33-28, after leading 21-3. Stafford threw for 246 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
