Father Time remains undefeated. In his 2015 fight against Peyton Manning, the old man is quickly falling behind the older man.

Manning popped up on the Monday injury report for the Broncos in advance of Thursday night’s game against the Chiefs, with a back injury. Manning fully participated in practice with the ailment.

Missing Monday’s practice for the Broncos were running back C.J. Anderson (ankle, toe), defensive end Kenny Anunike (knee), safety Omar Bolden (foot), and safety Darian Stewart (groin).

Defensive end Malik Jackson participated on a limited basis with a head injury, and safety David Bruton (hip), linebacker Brandon Marshall (foot), linebacker Lerentee McCray (groin), and receiver Demaryius Thomas (hand) fully participated.

Monday’s practice, a day after the season-opening win over the Ravens, was described as a “jog-through” on the team’s official website.

Manning has never lost to the Chiefs in his time as the Denver quarterback, and he’s never lost to an AFC West team on the road.
