Mike Evans says Randy Moss can still play

Randy-Moss-1

During the preseason, former NFL receiver Randy Moss mused openly about a comeback. But there has been no apparent interest in his services.

Maybe there should be.

Via JoeBucsFan.com, Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans recently explained that Moss can still play at a high level.

“If he really wanted to, I don’t know if he does or not, if he really gave it a crack, I think it would be pretty good,” Evans said on the first edition of his new show on the Buccaneers Radio Network. “He still has that explosion. He was beating me in 10 yard starts, you know. Yeah, and Terrelle Pryor and Josh Gordon, Leon Washington, he’s beatin’ us. We’ll win some, too. But he’s winning.”

Saints receiver Brandin Cooks made similar comments about Moss earlier this month. With plenty of teams needing pass catchers, it’s a little surprising that no one has offered Moss a chance to return.
