After the Lions lost to the Vikings last Sunday, Lions wide receiver Golden Tate accused the Vikings of taking “a bunch” of cheap shots at Lions players. Tate said he was “110 percent sure” there were plays that should have been flagged, and Tate said he wouldn’t be surprised if the NFL takes a second look at some of them.

Clear violations,” Tate said.

Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen appeared on PFT Live Tuesday and was asked about Tate’s claims, and in the opposite of a shocker Griffen sees things 110 percent the other way.

“No. We don’t take cheap shots,” Griffen said. “We are not that kind of football team.”

Griffen is rarely short on words, but he saw going further with this as a battle not worth fighting.

“We are moving on from Detroit,” Griffen said. “Detroit played us hard and played us strong but we are moving on to San Diego.”
