Despite being slowed last week by ankle injuries and limited through the practice week, the Packers will have running back Eddie Lacy and wide receiver DaVante Adams in the lineup Monday night vs. Kansas City.
The team had listed both as questionable on Saturday’s injury report, but their participation in practice Friday and Saturday indicated they would play.
Safety Morgan Burnett will be inactive after suffering a calf injury in practice. The Packers will replace Burnett in the starting lineup with Micah Hyde.
There were no surprise inactives when both teams turned in their inactive lists 90 minutes before Monday’s game. As expected, the Packers will start Don Barclay in place of the injured Bryan Bulaga at tackle. Bulaga also missed last week’s game vs. Seattle.
The Chiefs are healthy, meaning Eric Fisher returns to the starting lineup at right tackle and Jah Reid, who started the first two games there, is inactive. The Chiefs’ other inactives are quarterback Aaron Murray, cornerback Steven Nelson, linebacker Dezman Moses, tight end Brian Parker, wide receiver Frankie Hammond Jr. and defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
The Packers’ other inactives are quarterback Brett Hundley, safety Sean Richardson, cornerback Demetri Goodson, guard Lane Taylor and tight end Kennard Backman. Packers rookie cornerback LaDarius Gunter and rookie running back Alonzo Harris are set to make their NFL debuts. Harris was likely activated as insurance against Lacy aggravating his ankle injury.
