Two interceptions, one that went for a touchdown, were part of Bills linebacker Preston Brown’s big day vs. the Dolphins last Sunday.

On Wednesday, Brown was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Brown also had seven tackles, one for a loss, in the Bills’ 41-14 win. Brown becomes the first Bills player to be named AFC Defensive Player of the Week since Takeo Spikes in 2003.

The second-year linebacker now shares the NFL interception lead with two. His 43-yard interception return touchdown was the first by a Bills linebacker since Bryan Scott did it in 2011.
