49ers running back Carlos Hyde says he’ll “definitely” play on Thursday night, in a de facto elimination game against the Seahawks.

The 49ers apparently are concerned he may not be able to go; they worked out running back Pierre Thomas on Monday, per a league source.

The 49ers also gave a tryout to center Samson Satele, a seven-year veteran who has played for the Dolphins, Raiders, and Colts.

On Monday, coach Jim Tomsula expressed optimism that both Hyde and Reggie Bush will be able to play against the Seahawks during a session with the media.

Thomas, who spent eight years with the Saints despite being undrafted, has had several tryouts but he has yet to join a team since being released in New Orleans.
